Warriors head to Allegany for annual scrimmage

Football is in the air and scrimmage weekend is upon us across Western, NY. The annual Salamanca Warriors football scrimmage will be held Saturday morning at Allegany-Limestone to officially kick off the 2019 campaign.

The Junior Varsity squad will start at 9:00am with the varsity program slated for a 10:00am start.

There’s a connection among the 2 coaching staffs as Tom Callen (Allegany-Limestone) played at Salamanca, where he was a Big 30 all-star for coach George Whitcher. Paul Furlong, Allegany's previous head coach is also now an assistant with the Warriors.
