Bartoszek to present in Buffalo Bills webinar series
Buffalo Bills and USA Football kick off youth coach webinar series on June 3
The Buffalo Bills are among an exclusive list of NFL teams to partner with USA Football this spring to host a series of free webinars for local youth league coaches and commissioners. These video webinars provide personal direction to help Western New York youth leagues deliver fun and positive football experiences when football returns to play in a prudent, responsible way.
The Bills’ Sr. Director of Community Relations and Youth Football - Preston Teague, Youth Programs Coordinator - Ryan Moore, USA Football Master Trainer Rob Currin and USA Football East Regional Manager Aaron Hill were the driving forces behind making these webinars happen for the good of youth football families across Western New York.
The webinars will welcome up to 500 registrants and are free of cost at USAFootball.com/billswebinar.
Topics will cover USA Football instruction on “Building Better Programs and Players” (June 3), “Prep for Contact” addressing the psychological principles that underpin contact (June 10) and “Blocking and Tackling” (June 17). Presentations will be led by USA Football staff along with Salamanca H.S. head coach Chad Bartoszek and former Alden H.S. head coach Rob Currin. Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier will also help kick off Wednesday's call.
Unlimited webinar replays will be available at BuffaloBills.com.
The Bills/USA Football webinar series is just the latest example of how the team and USA Football continue to work together for the good of youth and high school football players.
This spring and summer, the Bills will scholarship hundreds of youth coaches across the Western New York Amateur Football Alliance to complete USA Football’s nationally accredited Youth Coach Certification. The Bills and the Western New York Amateur Football Alliance have generously scholarshipped local youth coaches for USA Football training and education for nearly a decade.
The Bills also traditionally host an annual in-person USA Football Coach Certification Clinic at One Bills Drive. Under the present circumstances due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is to be determined if an in-person clinic will take place this year.
USA Football is the sport’s national governing body and a member of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee. The independent non-profit offers the only youth football coach education accredited by the U.S. Center for Coaching Excellence. More than 700,000 coach certifications have been completed through USA Football since 2012.
